World of Warcraft: Pulse of the Eyes
AzerothGlobe
Can the fury of the eyes be quelled?

Introduction

The moon and sun of Azeroth are an enigma. Mu'sha and An'she are the glorious orbs of light in the sky. Not much is known of them, the Night Elves and Tauren worship them as gods in a far sky. Meanwhile, on these distant figures, an event, ages in the making, was taking place. As many have speculated, Elune and the Earth Mother are one in the same. The Earth Mother's crystal eyes are opening. The Eyes stream a beam of mist from the Emerald Dream to invigorate the life of Azeroth. When they have finished opening, portals would open to them to give the Tauren and Night Elves a chance get closer to their god, to enter a higher state of body and mind.

The opening of The Eyes has not been peaceful as told in ancient legends. Their attunement to the Twisting Nether has weakened the ties between all of the planets. Xoroth. Possibly the least known planet to Azeroth, has begun an assault on the moons. Many old horrors we have seen, and some new ones, have begun their invasion under the banner of The Wicked Regiment. They seek the crystalline core of the moons to rebuild their own planet, which has begun to violently tear itself apart due to how terribly they drained it of its resources. Although this effort may be in vain as many of the lieutenants and shock troopers know, their mysterious leader continues to push on.

World of Warcraft: Pulse of the Eyes will plunge heroes into a struggle between forces of the newly revived Emerald Dream and the relentless and never ending forces of The Wicked Regiment. Players will engage in seven new and extremely diverse zone, 13 new dungeons, all having a heroic mode, and five raids having a heroic mode as well. New arenas and battle grounds for characters to pit their skill in.

New Zones

The surface of the new 'continents' are not devoid of life or action. Many ranges and environments are found that would otherwise be impossible on other planets due to the connection to the dream.

Regions of An'she and Mu'sha

  • Neutral Shimmering Ravine: The gilded mountains, adorned with crystal spikes and golden veins that run deep into the center of the sun. The riches that have been left here by the demigods are staggering. Lakes of liquid silver and clouds of shattered crystals fill the landscape. Xorothian armies have set up camp in the southeastern region, mining the crystals to bring back to their home planet for building material. Led by Baron of Greed, Boram'arc, a Wanter that has an insatiable taste for luxury.
  • Neutral Apo'aran: The milk white plains and neon blue of the forests of Apo'aran are a place of beauty and tranquility. Home to multiple alien-like flora and fauna, the Xoroth have had little effect here, probably because they cant send enough forces here safely. The wildlife has been enraged by the opening of the eyes, and have been surging with power. The Baroness of Lust, Androthma is draining the energy from the plains to power war engines for Xoroth. And she has her ways of gaining the energy without hassle...
  • Neutral Runed Caverns:
  • Neutral Solmath's Hammer:
  • Neutral Yilithian Desert:
  • Neutral Exerath Bloodfen:
  • Neutral Xorothian Core:
