This article is about the group of lost ones called also Lost Ones. For the race, see Lost one.

The lost ones who live in the Fallow Sanctuary have called themselves the Lost Ones in mourning to their former world.[2][1] They are considered monsters as they were driven mad by the rigors of their journey to Azeroth, this group of lost ones crossed at the same time than the Broken Exiles and both groups were once allies but have became enemies.[4] This Lost Ones would take any risk and do everygthing that they can to destroy an orc.[2]

History

Arrival to Azeroth

When Draenor exploded and became into what is now known as Outland, most of the draenei died, however, some survived the explosion and a few of them managed to cross to Azeroth by the Dark Portal when it was reopened by unknown reasons[2] after the events of The Invasion of Draenor but before the Dark Portal Opens event.

This draenei that crossed called themselves the Lost Ones and established themselves in the Swamp of Sorrows,[2] because the northern swamp’s remoteness suited them,[3] some have begun to travel beyond the Swamp's borders.[2] The Broken Exiles separated from the Lost Ones because they went mad.[4]

Aftermath of the Third War

They were a peaceful race but would kill an orc whenever the oportunity arrise.[2] Stonard was re-established as an outpost of the Horde, and the Lost Ones frecuently raid the outpost presumably to steal supplies but sometimes they kill orcs in the process. Later they made plans to wipe out the orcs of Stonard,[3] and when a shaman in Stonard used a spell that went wrong and attracts the swamp's monsters, as well as some of the demons wandering north of the Blasted Lands the Lost Ones tried to take adventage of the situation and destroy Stonard,[5] however, they couldn't.

World of Warcraft

Now they don't only attack the orcs but every race that gets near to them,Template:Cite and had stolen the draenethyst crystals, a sacred item, to the Broken Exiles[4] with Ongeku holding a shard himself.[6] The Lost Ones attacked a caravan and only left only one survivor, Watcher Biggs, and stole most the supplies.[7][8] They are also attacking the Broken Exiles under the command of Noboru the Cudgel, he and his Lost Ones went wandering the swamps and killing any draenei who crossed his path.[9]

The Burning Crusade

Cursed Lost One

A cursed lost one.

Recently with the reopening of the Dark Portal and the arrival of the Exodar to Azeroth with the uncorrupted draenei, Anchorite Avuun has gone with the Broken Exiles and give them help; he wants to learn all that he can from the Lost Ones. By that time the blood elves also joined to the Horde and Cersei Dusksinger went to Stonard, she is trying to perfect an horrible disease and let it against the Lost Ones.

Cersei Dusksinger finally created her "weapon" to use against the Lost Ones, she gave their caged animals Inv misc food 69 [Fel-Tainted Morsels],[10] as a result they were further corrupted and became cursed Lost Ones, for that reason Anchorite Avuun is sending Alliance adventurers to kill the Lost Ones that have been cursed.[11]

Society

They have managed to make a life for themselves in the Swamp of Sorrows, and struggle to reclaim their former lives.[2]

The Lost Ones have managed to plant water-loving crops in the drier areas of the swamp and can feed themselves with those and with meat from the area's monsters[3] (crocolisks, jaguars and tarantulas).[10] Apparently they also eat humans.[12]
