Lord Admiral is the official title of the ruler of Kul Tiras. The Lord Admiral commands the Kul Tiran fleet and rules the nation in a similar fashion to a monarch. They are accompanied by the Admiral's Elite Guard. All known Lord Admirals have been from House Proudmoore.

Lady Priscilla Ashvane, once Katherine Proudmoore's advisor and close friend, nearly acquired the position through an elaborate scheme to portray Katherine as being unable to protect the people of Kul Tiras. However, Taelia Fordragon and an Alliance emissary thwarted Ashvane's plan by revealing the deception just moments after Katherine announced that she was stepping down.

Notes

• "Lord Admiral's favor, friend" is a common greetings on Kul Tiras.
• The Boralus Crier called Katherine Proudmoore "Grand Admiral" instead of Lord Admiral.
