- Use: Summons a Loaner Gryphon mount. This mount can only be summoned in the Storm Peaks, Icecrown and Sholazar Basin.
Loaned Gryphon Reins is a special mount that alliance players can obtain from "Honest" Max outside K3 for free, so long as you are level 77 and have not purchased 
[Cold Weather Flying].
Notes
- This mount is a vehicle - you don't get slowed or dismounted by daze, and you can mount when moving/falling/in combat.
- It travels at 60% speed like other non-epic flying mounts. It can only be used in Sholazar Basin, Storm Peaks, and Icecrown.
- This mount does not count towards the
Mountain o' Mounts achievement. - When obtaining this mount, apparently K3 and the entire surrounding area appear not to count as the Storm Peaks, because attempting to use the mount causes the error message, "You can't use that here."
