Darkspeaker Mee'Gah

Abilities

•  Mindflay  —  Deals periodic shadow damage to the target. Channeled spell. Interruptable. Used on Mee'Gah's primary target.
•  Loathsome Coils  —  Inflicts a debuff on Mee'Gah's current target that absorbs a certain amount of healing. .
•  Shadowstorm Orb  —  Conjures a globe of dark magic that hovers over the center of the chamber, periodically casting Shadow Crash on random targets.
•  Mind Crush —  Deals periodic shadow damage to all targets. Cast when no targets are in melee range for longer than 3 seconds Cannot be interrupted.
•  Devour Soul  —  Absorbs the soul from a nerubian entombed in a nearby sarcophagus. Channeled spell. Mee'Gah is invulnerable while casting this spell.
  •  Glutted on Souls  —  Increases damage done by all abilities and allows Shadowstorm Orb to cast Shadow Crash on one additional target per stack. Stacks to 4.

Undead Nerubian Abilities

Undead nerubians spawn from destroyed Nerubian Sarcophagi. The nerubians are named and will use one of the abilities listed below. Undead Nerubians have no health and cannot be slain, although they can be stunned, snared, silenced, rooted, or otherwise crowd controlled.

•  Shadowbolt Volley —  Deals shadow damage to all targets. Used by Krik'zar the Defiler. Interruptable.
•  Frostbolt —  Deals frost damage to a random target, slowing their movement speed. Used by Telok the Unwaking. Interruptable.
•  Frenzied Charge —  Charges a random target, dealing physical damage and knocking them to the ground. Used by Lord Krelik.
•  Fan of Poisoned Knives —  Deals physical damage on all nearby targets and randomly inflicts with either Crippling Poison or Wounding Poison. Used by Nak'Zevon the Poisonous. Interruptable.

Strategy

Darkspeaker Mee'Gah will use all of his abilities throughout the encounter, and immediately casts Shadowstorm Orb upon being engaged which will persist until he is slain. Mee'Gah will remain stationary in the center of the chamber and will not move. When his health is reduced to 66% and 33%, he will cast Devour Soul on one of the four Nerubian Sarcophagi that are placed at four points around the chamber, picking one at random. The sarcophagi will become vulnerable when they are affected by Devour Soul, while Mee'Gah will become invulnerable.

If Mee'Gah is able to complete his Devour Soul spell, the sarcophagi will be destroyed and Mee'Gah will gain a stack of Glutted on Souls, becoming more powerful. If players are able to destroy the sarcophagus first, the spell will be cancelled. Either way, an undead nerubian will spawn from the shattered sarcophagus and attack the party.

Heroic Mode Changes

• Mindflay chains to nearby targets, dealing more damage with every extra target it strikes.
• Mee'gah will cast Drain Soul at 80%, 60%, 40%, and 20% health, awakening all four nerubians instead of just two.

Achievement

• Soul Food - Defeat Mee'gah after letting him acquire 4 stacks of Glutted on Souls.
