Landen Wrynn, father of Adamant Wrynn III, was king of the nation of Azeroth prior to the opening of the Dark Portal.
During his reign, his Court Conjurer Nielas Aran was seduced by Aegwynn, who nine months later returned to Landen's court with the future Guardian Medivh.
Note
According to the Warcraft I manual, the events described above took place in the court of Wrynn III. This was revised in the novel Cycle of Hatred.
