Objectives

Retrieve the Crucible of Nazsharin.

This task is part of a Naz'jar Battlemaiden vision. If needed, use the [Blade of the Naz'jar Battlemaiden] at a time focus to return to the vision.

Description

Our revered lady has sent me to aid you in your task. She wants you to retrieve the stolen Crucible of Nazsharin and bring it back here as soon as you can.

She grows impatient to start the ritual of summoning so that we might fully begin our preparations for war.

Completion

The crucible looks far too heavy to carry on your own, but more than enough naga forces remain to prepare it for transport.

Notes

Keep heading southwest. At the third marked temple on the zone map is Executioner Verathress. Do his side quest, Setting An Example, then head south into the building to find the Crucible.

-Periodically spawns two Thorn Lashers and teleports to his original position.  Assign one DPS to kill each spawn and continue business as usual on Laj.  The spawns can be several different types some doing a mind flay, thrown damage, etc.  All their attacks deal relatively large amounts of damage.  They are vulnerable to both banish and fear. The spawns are also vulnerable to rogue stuns/incapacitates (Gouge/Cheap Shot/Kidney Shot).

-Laj puts a disease on the tank, that should be cleansed since it increase the damage the tank takes. Laj will also randomly change color, when he does this he will be resistant to certain types of magic ( just like the mobs on both sides of the Botanist), Blue (Frost resistant), Red(Fire resistant), Green( Nature resistant), Black (Shadow). there is also arcane but at this time it's not known if he gets resistant to that as he went down in 3 color changes or less, and although it didn't seem to make much of a difference for our group at the time, it may save you some time and mana, and increase the damage he takes.

-Laj room was also bugged for us, but we've found a really easy way to kill it while not aggroing bugged mobs.

-Just aggro Laj and run back to previous room. DPS Laj right after it crosses doorway. After a while it will teleport back to his place and will come back to "fight room". As warlock I placed [[Curse of Doom]] on him and since fight took more than 3 minutes because of teleporting and running back - it had chance to hit him 3 times. So dots helps a lot in this fight. We had non-elite lashers coming to the room from time to time. Just DPS those down. The major downfall of this strategy is after Laj is dead - his spawns are still standing in their natural spawn position and you remain in combat. This means you have to run in and DPS them fast (since there might be several lashers on one spawn point) or wait till they despawn (despawn not confirmed - we killed them after Laj).
