Knock back is a mob or NPC (Non-Player Character) ability to knock a character back long distances. The ability to 'knockback' is one that has been sought after by players in the past (perhaps being added in patches, for example). However, Blizzard has declined to include the mechanic for players, probably for the possibility of griefing by knocking other players into unfavorable situations.
