History[]

Mists of Pandaria This section concerns content related to Mists of Pandaria.

Kang accompanies Lin Tenderpaw and the monks of the Tian Monastery in searching for the Hidden Master in the Valley of the Four Winds. Judging by the words of Pandriarch Bramblestaff in N [10-35] Getting Permission, Kang appears to be from a long line of staff-using monks, a fact he takes great pride in. Xiao describes him as being overconfident to the point of arrogance. He follows the south wind to Krasarang Wilds when searching for the Hidden Master. However, he soon discovered the Pools of Youth and also worked with the Horde led by Dezco and Alliance led by Lorekeeper Vaeldrin and Lyalia to fight the mogu.

After being told that Lin had found the Hidden Master, he immediately went to practice but shortly afterwards he joined with his fellow monks in the defense of the Stoneplow village. Kang with the rest of his team also visited the Temple of the White Tiger where he can be fought.

Kang can also be seen on the Timeless Isle overlooking the Celestial Court and Celestial Tournament. He says that he feels drawn to Chi-Ji.

Warlords of Draenor This section concerns content related to Warlords of Draenor.

During the war in Draenor, Kang can be recruited as a Windwalker Monk follower from the garrison inn.

Gossip[]

Pang's Stead

Finally, a chance to use the skills we've been training for. Who knows what adventure we'll find here in the Valley of the Four Winds?

Gossip

These creatures are fascinating. Great fighters. Though so thin...

Thunder Cleft

Ah, <name>! These "sunwalkers" may not be the Hidden Master, but their fighting style is unlike anything I have ever seen.

I intend to learn from them.

Gossip Did you know that Lin found the Hidden MAster? He's in Paoquan Hollow.

I can't believe it! I was certain that he'd be here in the Wilds.
Paoquan Hollow, you say? I'll join her soon, and we can continue our training. For the time being, I've already found an adventure of my own.
During H [15-35] The Mogu Agenda
  • I think I saw some mogu digging up artifacts.
That can't be good.
We still tell tales of all the evil stuff the mogu did when they knew how to use artifacts and arcane powers.
  • I've never heard of mogu gathering in such large numbers before.
  • Mama Bramblestaff often told me if I didn't stop breaking her vases she would ship me off to the Dungeons of Dojan.
  • These mogu may be clunky in their movements but their faces are hard on the knuckles.
Dawnchaser Retreat
  • Did you hear? Dezco named one of the twins "<name>".
  • The mogu are usually thugs and brigands. They never struck me as having the patience for arcane magics.
  • The ruins of Korja were where something important happened sometime, I guess. I may have snoozed through that history lesson.
