Revision as of 01:40, 2 April 2007
The Imperial Plate armor set is crafted by Blacksmiths. In order to learn the plans for the items, blacksmiths must be at least level 50 and have a blacksmithing skill of 265. They must then turn in Thorium Bars to Derotain Mudsipper in Gadgetzan. All pieces of the set are Bind on Equip.

Notes
This set is far and away the easiest set to put together and also one of the least powerful of the upper level sets. Not to worry, it does its job and can be a huge help in working to gain the Battlegear of Valor set (or Lightforge Armor). If you look close you will notice the fact that only six of the seven set items are required to gain the maximum set bonus. Also note that there are no gloves in the set. This works to advantage while putting together the Valor set, since you can have both the 2-piece bonus from Valor/Lightforge as well as the 6-piece bonus from this set at the same time.
