  • Fixed a bug that could prevent Inv 60pvp trinket4a [Everlasting Horn of Lavaswimming] from dropping as intended on completion of the Siege of Dragonbane Keep.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause a failure to receive a Warcraft Rumble toy reward. If you earned a toy, but did not receive the item, click on the Warcraft Rumble Machine again to be given the toy.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause Warcraft Rumble Foils to go missing. If you’re missing a Foil that should have been given to you, click on the Warcraft Rumble Machine to receive the Foil. Multiple clicks can produce multiple missing Foils, if applicable.
  • When you summon a Warcraft Rumble Toy that's gained additional looks, you can now interact with that toy to cycle through its earned looks. Each time you change looks, there's a 5-second cooldown until you can interact with it again.

  • Developers' notes: These specific NPCs had a very small chance to hit you and flag you, so it may as well be zero chance. Nonetheless, we do not intend to make changes to the general behavior of enemy faction guards in Hardcore. Players who wish to avoid being flagged for PvP should avoid enemy faction settlements and quests labeled "PvP" in the Quest Log.

  • For each player-character's current Rank, weekly PvP contribution calculations now only award up to the amount of contribution points missing in progress towards the next Rank threshold.
    • Developers' note: In higher ranks, players have been intentionally earning dishonorable kills to lower themselves below their current rank threshold in order to gain credit for an additional Rank, thereby allowing them to gain progress more quickly than a player who is just above that next Rank threshold. You now first earn up to the amount you're missing from the Rank you start in. There should no longer be a benefit from lowering one's rank via dishonorable kills to earn progress more quickly.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Honor reward for Alterac Valley marks turn-in quests to be unintentionally doubled.

      • Chi Cocoon's absorb is increased by 100%.
      • Enveloping Breath's healing decreased by 12%.
      • Developers' notes: We're shifting more of Celestial Harmony's throughput into Chi Cocoon, with the intent of keeping the talent's power level similar in raid, and increased in dungeon content.

    • Developers' notes: We've recently made and are currently making a number of adjustments to specs that were particularly powerful in Mythic+, and while we feel these changes will have the desired effect, we've also heard concerns that it may now be much more difficult to complete very high keys and achieve ratings that were previously within reach. We think this is a fair concern, so we're making a temporary adjustment to the scaling of key levels above 20 in the hope that it provides players some space to continue competing for Mythic+ rating before the end of Season 2.

    • Glacial Proto-Dragon's Deep Chill now damages affected players every 2 seconds (was every 1 seconds). This reduces the damage over time portion of the spell by 50%.

    • Infinite Timereaver's Stolen Time cooldown increased to 8 seconds (was 4 seconds).
    • Developers' notes: We've heard feedback that certain dungeon creature abilities can feel oppressive for groups without access to Mass Dispel, and we're hoping these abilities will now feel more manageable for those groups.

      • Neltharion's health reduced by 5% on mythic difficulty.
      • Voice from Beyond's health reduced by 5% on Mythic difficulty.
      • Ebon Destruction's periodic damage reduced by 10% on Mythic difficulty.
      • Shatter's periodic damage reduced by 10% on Mythic difficulty.
      • Fixed an issue where Neltharion may fail to apply Corruption on players during phase 2 of the encounter on Heroic and Mythic difficulties.

      • Developers' notes: Aegis of Wrath was too impactful in PvP due to its ability to deal with burst damage, so we're reducing Discipline's reliance on the talent and baking in some of its power to Power Word: Shield baseline. This should encourage more build diversity and give Discipline a small bump up in PvP.

      • Spell nature lightning [Lightning Bolt] damage is now increased by 45% in PvP combat (was 31%).

      • Spell fire elemental totem [Skybreaker's Fiery Demise] now increases the critical strike chance of Spell fire flameshock [Flame Shock] by 25% in PvP Combat (was 50%).
      • Spell fire elemental totem [Fire Elemental] now causes Flame Shock to deal damage 15% faster in PvP Combat (was 33%).
      • Developers' notes: We're adjusting some of Elemental's damage away from Flame Shock and into instant damage spells to improve the spec's finishing power, which has been lacking this season.

      • Developers' notes: Discipline Priest is not performing as well as we'd like, so for this week we're increasing their Atonement healing. In a future patch, we are working on redesigning some of their talent options and making tuning adjustments there as well.
      • Ability priest atonement [Atonement] heals for 40% of damage done (was 36%). This change will also affect PvP combat.

      • Spell holy holynova [Rhapsody] now stacks every 1 second (was 2 seconds) and causes Holy Nova to deal 20% increased damage per stack (was 10%). This change will also affect PvP combat.

We don't want to change the way the system works for the vast majority of players who are working their way towards new Valor upgrade tiers, or cosmetic unlocks, but past the Mythic 20 threshold, there are no further tangible rewards other than the leaderboards and eventual end-of-season competition for the Thundering Hero title. The goal of this change is thus to ensure that the way to climb the leaderboards and earn a title meant for the best Mythic+ players in the world is by successfully completing dungeons within the allotted time, without negatively impacting the majority of players using the system. When this change takes effect, some players who are just barely at 2400 rating, with some of that rating coming from untimed 21+ keys, may drop below 2400 and need to re-earn that Rating in order to continue to upgrade new items to Rank 13.

  • Auction House
    • Added options to sort by Buyout Price and by Unit Price. These can be selected via a gear icon button to the right of the search sorting headers.
    • Now, when you select an item to purchase, the total buyout price is displayed next to the Buyout button.
    • Searching an item name in quotes will now perform an exact match search for that item name.
    • Shift-clicking an item with the Auction House open will now paste the name of that item in quotes to the Auction House.
  • Creatures and NPCs
    • Class trainers were inadvertently forgetting to charge money for the dual talent specialization, profession respecialization, and other paid options. While we investigate the cause of their inadequate accounting practices, we've asked them to stop selling the dual talent specialization ability. Anyone who has already purchased dual talent specialization will be allowed to keep it, and we'll re-enable it once we've fixed the issue. The profession specialization services will continue to be offered, but may spontaneously start charging their intended fee.

    • Defense Protocol Alpha
      • Bounty Satchels from Heroic Daily Dungeons, with Defense Protocol Alpha active, are no longer tradeable to party members.
      • The Frostbite effect from Heroic Utgarde Keep and Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle, while Defense Protocol Alpha is active, now appears as a debuff and cannot be cancelled via the UI.
      • The Bounty Satchel from the Heroic Daily Dungeon, when Defense Protocol Alpha is active, is now multidrop. This was an accidental oversight and was always intended to be multidrop. This means all members of the party can loot the item and receive 3 bonus Spell holy championsgrace [Emblems of Conquest].

    • Glassware (10) should now correctly reduce the cooldown of Gem Hoard crafts.
