Paladin Hand spells are short-term Paladin spells that give their target a powerful effect before fading shortly after.
Hand spells were implemented in Patch 3.0.2. They are made up of many of the former Blessing spells. Many of the Hand spells were Blessings that acted as a short-term utility rather than standard raid buff, including the former Blessing of Freedom, Blessing of Protection, and Blessing of Sacrifice spells. In addition, Blessing of Salvation was converted into a hand spell from a long term Blessing. These spells are now known as Hand of Freedom, Hand of Protection, Hand of Sacrifice, and Hand of Salvation.
There are numerous hands available to Paladins. The available hands are as follows:

|Hand of Salvation||Places a Hand on the party or raid member, reducing their total threat by 2% every 1 sec. for 10 sec.||26||Protection||1|
Improving hands with talents
Hands can be improved with the following talents:
Holy Tier 5
|Reduces the mana cost of all Hand spells by 15/30% and increases the effects of Hand of Sacrifice by 5/10% and Hand of Salvation by 50/100%.|
Protection Tier 2
|Reduces the cooldown of Hand of Protection by 60/120 sec and increases the duration of Hand of Freedom by 2/4 sec.|
Retribution Tier 5
|Gives Hand of Freedom a 50/100% chance to remove any Stun effects on the target.|
