A ranged weapon, similar to a bow in use. Guns are capable of using different types of bullets or shot which will affect the gun's damage output. Guns are very popular with Hunters although Rogues and Warriors can also use them (with training).
Ammo pouches hold ammunition and increase rate of fire.
Dwarves have a racial trait that improves their ability to use guns - Gun Specialization: Increase Gun Critical Hit chance by 1%
Engineers can make guns and ammo.
The gun 'types' are purely cosmetic; Boomstick, 
[Blunderbuss], Shotgun, Rifle, etc.
Training
Dwarf and Tauren Hunters start with the Gun skill. Hunters of other races, as well as Rogues and Warriors can learn the Gun skill from some trainers (see weapon trainers for details).
Lore
Firearms are a relatively new dwarven invention. Despite the dangers of dealing with volatile explosives, dwarves are fascinated by the possibilities. Dwarven gunmakers constantly tinker with the guns they craft, trying out new designs and upgrades, naming and decorating their weapons.Template:Cite
