Description

The Order of the Rose was one of the first prominent Alliance roleplaying guilds on the Feathermoon Realm. Founded soon after the game's launch by Alanna and Thornt, early members included Pathis, Aseas, Lilleanna, Steele, Malicon, Lothloriel, Valmora, and Glissa, among many others, and quickly rose to become the largest Feathermoon Alliance guild at the time. At one point, the guild numbered over 90 members.

The guild became well-known in the first months of the server's life for sponsoring Alliance-wide roleplaying events like the Tournament of Roses in Darnassus. An on-going roleplaying plot and PVP conflict with prominent Feathermoon Horde guild Low Red Moon brought the Order even more attention.

The Order of the Rose's formal weekly guild meetings took place on Saturday evenings, after a walking procession through Stormwind from the Gilded Rose to the Cathedral.

In spring 2005, the guild largely dissolved as many of the members left. The guild continues today, but in a much smaller form. Under the guidance of long-time Feathermoon denizens like Himitsu, Rhel, and Chelody, the guild still occasionally sponsors roleplaying events like costume balls.
