The Gilneas Brigade, commanded by a random mountain king, was a detachment of troops within the survivors of Lordaeron that were led by Jaina Proudmoore to Kalimdor. Due to Gilneas isolationist policy, it is possible the Brigade was formed by Gilneian dissidents.
