Ruins of Lordaeron... in cataclysm as i saw it first time in cataclysm i was hoping more than a large empty castle with forest trees? well in cataclysm the towers that once in the backyard now gone and large trees that is there can be seen, so the ruins is now more like a large park than a city(AN ALLIANCE EX-CAPITAL FGS) or even a castle. I also expect ruins of Lordaeron arena to be inside the city. I understand the city suppose to be dead and there's not enough space etc, but really bliz got to do something about it... This really is a waste of large zone like the tirisfal grove area, would be cool if Tirisfal is reforged for the city zone not just a large capitol zone. The ruins is like nothing today, seem blizz have completely ignored it but the fact that Lordaeron is important in reality of the game as long we spent money for them :P

I think Blizz's issue is they don't want people to be up in the ruins as opposed to down in undercity, still, it would be nice to have a bit more for nostalgia sake... Also the Tirisfal Grove area is still pretty unknown to everyone since the Elves left years ago, Blizz probably have plans for it with an Old God or something, still, gonna be interesting to finally be able to fly over it...  Max Krist (talk contribs) 00:17, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, that's more or less fanon. We know the high elves landed SOMEWHERE in Tirisfal Glades, but the idea that it was that unused area in the west came from a WoW Insider article. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 00:45, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

Well for me i think the grove(or western tirisfal glade) should be removed, so uc's lordaeron area can be improved or enlarged, the old gods idea came from a fan i think... and idc about HE landing site :P the ruins should hav more stuff inside(forsaken settling on camps instead of city which they own, strange grass terrain color and blood, palace with only main building with no space for chambers, nostalgic large trees?) just pathetic :P, but blizz have plan i think for lordaeron, with that camp and quest: delivery to silverpine mentioned something about discovery in lordaeron, so the ruins will not completely forgotten or atleast not just passing through it anymore.
