Forums: Village pumpWarcraft lore Northern Plaguelands?
(This topic is archived. Please do not edit this page!)

I've wondered for some time... what's with the area north of the known Plaguelands? Is it just another part of the Plaguelands, or is it ruled by some surviving humans, like base of the Scarlet or the Argent Crusade? Magnive (talk) 15:47, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

I suspect you're thinking of the Ghostlands and Eversong Woods which are the starting areas of the blood elves for those with Burning Crusade. The area northwest of the Eastern Plaguelands is a closed zone, so nothing is really known.--Gengar orange 22x22Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 9:24 PM PST 31 May 2009
Free feel to read Northern Lordaeron if thats the area you mean. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 04:27, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

The closed zone is unknown, but probably just flat land that contains nothing currently. Any future events for it are unlikely, as The Lich King will probably be defeated soon, without anything happening with the area. You can put that in the official WoW forums in the suggestions part, however. VraulIconTINY Vraul Jawrip (talk · contr) () 04:48, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

I aint thinking about neither the Ghostlands or the Eversong woods... Magnive (talk) 11:16, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
I think Northern Lordaeron will be flooded in Cataclysm, eliminating those annoying people who keep nagging Blizzard about it, haha. --Pimmeh (talk) 15:16, September 20, 2009 (UTC)
I seriosly doubt that it will be a zone (there is no evidence at all of this) but it might be added say to the Western Plaguelands, or if they really want to add more to it, the Eastern Plaguelands. I hope however that it is indeed Northeron, and that therefore the section, if it is added, will have a unique feel within the zone it is placed (then again, it might indeed just get flooded, or far more likely still, just be mountains).
