Forums: Village pumpWarcraft lore Hunters? Human Hunters?

Hello this is my firstpost! but Im asking if Human hunters aren't against Lore, I know the only hunter "alive" is Nathanos Blightcaller; or Marshall Marris, he was the only Human I remember Hunter, can be that Night elves will teach again humans?? is there something related to them --Rhad1979 (talk) 22:56, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Lore isn't static. Things will change, especially in times of great upheaval. All we know now is that there will be a reason explained... much like holy tauren and arcane night elves. Go read up on Kisirani's latest posts about this.
Human hunters requires very little explanation anyway - I mean, it's almost like warriors. Every race has people who can pick up a bow, and most of them understand the concept of training pets. Some of the new choices were only missing for arbitrary gameplay reasons - i.e. they shouldn't need introduction via a questline. Kirkburn  talk  contr 02:40, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
There's also Houndmaster Loksey, and even more obviously Huntsman Leopold. Marris was only stated to be the only human Ranger, not hunter. INV Misc Orb 04Xavius, the Satyr Lord 19:35, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
Almost the entire population of Grizzly Hills are hunters, although they later become worgen. IconSmall Dwarf MalePaladinOkolorionTalk Contribs 22:18, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

I say: There are too many human players and too many hunter players! Bad idea. BobNamataki (talk) 12:16, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

Meh, gotta do something to make other races aside from Worgen super popular once Cataclysm hits... :P Pokeball Max Krist (talk contribs) 05:55, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Listen Max...before you continue arguing, have you seen the poll on my page. There will be more goblins than worgen. I'm counting on it. BobNamataki (talk) 13:27, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

The reason I am against Human Hunters, is, as stated above, Humans are an overplayed race, Hunters an overplayed Class. Human Paladins are already rampant, it's just going to imbalance the unbalanced. However, anybody who acts in the cycle of live and chooses to, can be a Hunter. Theres nothing in the lore that goes against a Human Hunter. Actually, I'm surprised they weren't initially added. IMHO, Human Hunters many more sense than Human Warlocks. --TeeSon5 (talk) 13:31, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
The overplayed point is true. The problem was, in real life, there were Human warlocks and shamans and druids and hunters. BobNamataki (talk) 15:59, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
Well, there is a game like that; where Humans are the only race and they specialize in all areas of combat at the same time, making a "class" ... well, obsolete. RuneScape. --TeeSon5 (talk) 16:24, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
Well Runescape isn't that good is it? And I thought our graphics were bad. BobNamataki (talk) 18:53, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
I love(d) RuneScape. Sure, I don't play anymore, but that's because they put WAY too many restrictions (trading, PvP, etc). Despite the graphics it's a pretty good game, much better Roleplay than you could ever find on WoW. And while they don't have the money to hire authors to make up lore as good as WoW's storylines USED to be, they make great use of the limited resources (money) they have. Ahh, memories. --TeeSon5 (talk)
