Description

There was a bundle of parchments in the chest upstairs when I moved into this place. I looked at them once when I first arrived but I gave up once the fog hazed over my peepers.

Do an old, nearly-blind man a favor and check the chest upstairs for anything that might help you in your quest to discover more about this Stalvan character. I'm pretty sure there's a faded journal page that might be of interest to you. Bring it to me and I'll help in anyway I can.

• Marshal Haggard can be found in Elwynn Forest at the co-ordinates (84,69)
• The house nearest Marshal, referred to as a "tree turned over", is the house holding the chest. Make sure you have a free inventory spot for the Faded Journal Piece.
• As you open the chest, another Forlorn Spirit will attack you, favoring polymorphing. Dispatch of it before you talk to Marshal again. If you hand in the quest before the Forlorn Spirit is dead, you will not be able to get the next part of the quest chain. This has not been fixed as of 4.0.1.13205.
