Map of the Eastern Kingdoms (as of Patch 2.0.1).

File:War2.jpg

Eastern Kingdoms in Warcraft II, four continents.

The Eastern Kingdoms is a supercontinent which was formed from Azeroth's original single continent following the Great Sundering. It lies to the east of the Great Sea. The central Eastern Kingdoms are dominated by the Khaz Mountains and the Redridge Mountains. Both cover several regions.

The Eastern Kingdoms include the three continents of Lordaeron, Khaz Modan, and Azeroth. They are the home of the Forsaken, dwarves, gnomes, blood elves, humans and the few remaining high elves.

A map on the Blizzard web site and the Warcraft RPG, shows the Eastern Kingdoms as divided into three continents:

Quel'Thalas has made up a fourth continent in some maps, and within discussions as well. Though generally the Eastern Kingdoms is divided into only three continents.
