Eastern Kingdoms/Imagemap The Eastern Kingdoms is a group of smaller continents which were formed from Azeroth's original single continent following the Great Sundering. The Eastern Kingdoms lies to the east of the Great Sea. The central Eastern Kingdoms are dominated by the Khaz Mountains and the Redridge Mountains. Both cover several regions.
The Eastern Kingdoms include the three or four continents of Lordaeron, Khaz Modan, and Azeroth, and sometimes Quel'Thalas. They are the home of the undead, dwarves, gnomes, blood elves, humans and the few remaining high elves.
A map on the Blizzard web site and the Warcraft RPG shows the Eastern Kingdoms as divided into three continents:
Quel'Thalas makes up a fourth continent in some maps, and within various articles as well. Though most of the time it appears that the Eastern Kingdoms is divided into only three continents.
