High Elves

If there's Half Elves, shouldn't we add High Elves? Mr.X8 23:43, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

They don't necessarily, but still it's not like some of the Half-Elf population was born there by a High Elf Mr.X8 01:06, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

It can mean several things, half-elves moved there later, or they born to humans living there and high elves that were just passing through, one night stands and whatever. Just because a population lives in one place doesn't mean their parents lived there. Also it should be noted that if Brann didn't bring up a specific population, its probably because the population was negligible to begin with, extremely low numbers or none at all, or too violent for him to get close enough to count.Baggins 01:07, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Well one thing its stated that high elves generally abandon their half-elf children at birth, and despise them throughout life. So they don't really have "families" per se. they usually grow up with their human parents who are less biased towards them, or taken care of by other half-elves.

In anycase even if there were one or two families in all of Hillsbrad it wouldn't be enough to include on the demographics chart. Not to mention 1 or 2 would be far less than 1% of the population, and wouldn't have fit Brann's rounded figures where he only included races that made up at least 1% of the population or better in an area.Baggins 22:42, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

As for the half-orcs the story is a bit different. Most are products of human/orc relations during internment camp years, for love or forced. After the Third War most orcs had moved out of Hillsbrad, but many half-orcs remained behind with their human family members or whatever. Yes, brann speaks of there being one small group of eight orcs living in Hillsbrad inside an abandoned tower, however since they are less than 1% of the population of Hillsbrad, he didn't count them on his demographic list (which he only counts primary large groups, making up at least 1% of the population, that he could count.) Also by the time he learned about them, they had moved to the Hinterlands (he doesn't count them in the demographics there, either, as only 8 individuals would be far less than 1% of the population).Baggins 22:49, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Capital?

Isn't Hillsbrad city the Alliance capital in the region? (and therefore the capitol of Lordaeron?)
