While that is true, in the RPG source books, they are simply a variation of giant. Same as with sea giants and molten giants.

On second thought, they are classified as Earth, having in the mountain giant category would be fine... Ice giants will have to move though.

I wouldn't know where to place it, in the RPG book, Mountain giants are shown as Huge Giant (Earth), Frost giants are Huge Giant (Cold, Earth), Molten giants are Huge Giant (Earth, Fire), and Sea giants are Huge Giant (Aquatic, Water).
