Wrath of the Lich KingEdit

Wrath-Logo-Small This section concerns content exclusive to Wrath of the Lich King.

In World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, Budd and his band of treasure seekers and troll slayers have moved camp to Grizzly Hills in search of new profits, but ever since his encounter with Zul'jin, Budd he seems to have lost his sanity and now believes he is a troll complete with a troll mask. He is now used as troll bait and an aid in capturing live ice trolls in the quest Filling the Cages. He is actually thinking he is playing "Troll Tag" which basically means knocking someone out by hitting their head with a frying pan.

Cataclysm-Logo-Small This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm.

With the coming of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Budd makes an appearance at the opening sequence to the Vashj'ir zone, where he inexplicably leaps into the water from his mercenary vessel, which carries adventurers, before it is sunk by Ozumat. He ends up at Budd's Dig in Kelp'thar Forest. He is cursed digging up some cursed treasure and asks the player to help relieve the curse. Once he is cured he waves goodbye and apparently escapes Vashj'ir.

He also appears in Thistleshrub Valley[30.4, 65.6]
of Tanaris near the entrance to Uldum, along with Adarrah. Budd and the others are planning to drive a caravan into Uldum to search for artifacts. Unluckily, the caravan is ambushed by pygmy mercenaries that were hired by the tol'vir to kill any intruders. Budd offers a crazy plan to get the team and a Ramkahen prince out of the Tol´vir city which, despite Budd's somewhat questionable intellect, works quite well. He later continues on to stay within the Ramkahen village of Mar'at[50, 40]

Since Patch 4.2.0, there is a chance for Budd to make an appearance during the Firelands Invasion quest The Protectors of Hyjal as "one of Azeroth's greatest heroes", one of many heroes that have a chance to spawn and assist players while on the quest. He makes various comments, and his weapon of choice is a frying pan.

In Combat

Budd says: I'm fiiiighting! Budd says: Bonk! Yes sir! Budd says: Weee!

Budd says: Toodly-doo!

His last name is an obvious play on "Redneck," switching the N and the R in his name.
