- Patch 7.0.3 (19-Jul-2016): Blood Strike now generates additional Runic Power on top of the standard amount gained for spending a Rune.

- Patch 4.0.6 (8-Feb-2011): The amount of bonus damage Blood Strike was receiving per disease was inconsistent with its tooltip and has been amended.
- Patch 3.2.0 (04-Aug-2009): The bonus damage this ability receives from diseases on the target has been increased to 50% per disease.
- Patch 3.1.0 (14-Apr-2009): Bonus damage for diseases is now a multiplier rather than a flat bonus.
