Extra Credit Bonus Stage

Extra Credit Bonus Stage is a Cataclysm heroic dungeon achievement needed for the [Glory of the Cataclysm Hero] achievement, rewarding the [Reins of the Volcanic Stone Drake].

Strategy

You CAN teleport in and out of the instance, "single visit" means that it must be the same instance ID. It is also entirely possible to accomplish this after the instance has been cleared, so as to not annoy the rest of the group.

This achievement is shared across the group, so one player does not have to collect all five orbs to get individual credit. A tracker will be displayed at the top of the screen after the first player gets the first orb so the rest of the group can keep track.

Locations

There are plenty of Golden Orbs to choose from. The first is just past the first trash pull on the Cyclone Summit, before reaching the bridge, hanging off to the east. The next can be found immediately past Grand Vizier Ertan, to the right (southeast) of the ledge with the Slipstream, just underneath it.

The next two Golden Orbs are located off of the first bridge on the Nimbus Rise after the storm drake, guarded by the Howling Gales. Players can either chance it by interrupting the gales and jumping off the ledge normally, or by letting the gale blow them in the direction of the orb. Repeatedly right-click the orb as it gets in range. The left Slipstream near the instance line will take players close to that location.

There is an orb or two available during the Altairus encounter, accessible by getting knocked up by the cyclones during the encounter.

Move on to the Temple of Assad, either by continuing past Altairus or taking the right Slipstream at the instance entrance. Run a third of the way up the first circular ramp with the Zephyrs floating past to see the an orb hanging in the air to the northeast. Another orb is on the same circular ramp, almost at the to top off to the east. It will take getting hit with a Zephyr for the run speed buff in order to reach this orb.

A final orb is on the circular ramp leading down to Assad's area, about halfway down hanging off to the east. Mages can cheat by casting Slow Fall on themselves, getting hit with a Zephyr and jumping off. As well can Priests with [Levitate]. Engineers can use [Flexweave Underlay].
