Avenger's Shield is the 41-point talent in the Paladin's Protection tree. It is a ranged attack that will jump to nearby targets, dazing them for a short duration.

Tips
The chance to hit with this ability is improved by adding hit rating, not spell hit rating.
This spell is the primary pulling tool of prot paladins, as it is ranged, does holy damage, and establishes aggro on up too three targets.
Avenger's Shield hits each target with a 13.6% spell damage coefficient.
Trivia
The Paladin Talent Avenger's Shield is a reference to Captain America (who is a member of the superhero group known as The Avengers), and his ability to ricochet his shield off of multiple targets and return to him.
Patch Notes
As of Patch 2.4 this spell will not 'jump' to targets that are under the effects of crowd control (such as [Sap] or [Polymorph]).
