Armorsmithing

The armorsmithing specialization is given by a dwarf,  Grumnus Steelshaper, at the Great Forge in Ironforge or  Okothos Ironrager in the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar. Having completed the Mithril Order quest chain with  Galvan the Ancient in Stranglethorn Vale and  Trenton Lighthammer in Gadgetzan, you possess the recipes required to complete the quest and gain Artisan Armorsmith. If you want to respec from Weaponsmithing, you must also choose the Armorsmith specialization with  Myolor Sunderfury by the Great Forge or  Krathok Moltenfist in the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar.

For this quest, you will need to turn in the following:

• 4 [Ornate Mithril Helm]
• 2 [Ornate Mithril Boots]
• 1 [Ornate Mithril Breastplate]

Which will require the following materials to craft:

• 108 [Mithril Bar]
• 18 [Truesilver Bar]
• 7 [Solid Grinding Stone]
• 8 [Thick Leather]
• 2 [Aquamarine]
• 1 [Heart of Fire]

Crafting the complete set for your own use produces the Ornate Mithril Armor set. This set is generally best suited for level 40-50 Warrior and Paladin characters. However, in order to obtain the amount of mithril needed to complete these quests will require the blacksmith to adventure in level 40-55 zones. The amount of time spent in these zones killing creeps just to obtain the ore will most likely result in a character in the mid-50 level range. Thus, the armor set may prove useless to the blacksmith. However, all pieces in the set can be sold and used by appropriate level characters so it may still be worth crafting for that purpose.
