The Alliance Forces was an organization that encompassed the humans and dwarves members of Alliance of Lordaeron. Shortly before the Third War, a captain warned the orcs that they were violating the Alliance Internment Act and that they had captured an orc leader, Grom Hellscream. Led by Thrall, the Orcish Horde attacked the Alliance Naval Base, freed the orcs and Grom, and stole their ships and left Lordaeron.[1] Its team color is blue.

- The term was then used as the team name of the combined forces of Uther's Silver Hand and Arthas's group of Alliance of Lordaeron and then for the force led by Arthas throughout his campaign in Lordaeron and Northrend. However, players are not able to see it in the game.[2]
- In World of Warcraft, the name Alliance Forces is used to represent the Stormpike Guard, The League of Arathor, and Silverwing Sentinels factions.
