Acherus Deathcharger is a death knight ability that allows the death knight to summon a deathcharger mount. Every death knight will earn this ability after completing the quest  [55] Into the Realm of Shadows.

Despite being available at only level 55, the Deathcharger is a +100% speed (epic) mount. Other classes have access to +100% speed ground mounts only at level 60.
