Instancja

Lochy, twierdze i inne obszary mogą posiadać odrębne, zamknięte rejony zwane instancjami. Są to specjalne miejsca w World of Warcraft, które grupa (party lub raid) może na osobności zwiedzać i walczyć z wrogimi jednostkami tam występującymi. Instancja jest osobno generowana dla każdej grupy - różne grupy nie wchodzą ze sobą w interakcję, nawet jeśli są w instancji o tej samej nazwie w tym samym czasie.
